Kitchen Technician

Job description:

  1. Equipment Installation & Setup
  • Install and commission commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, chillers, freezers, fryers, dishwashers, and steamers.
  • Ensure proper electrical, gas, and water connections as per safety standards.
  • Test equipment functionality after installation.
  1. Preventive Maintenance
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Clean and service internal components to prevent breakdowns.
  1. Troubleshooting & Repairs
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
  • Repair or replace defective parts.
  1. Refrigeration & Cooling Systems
  • Maintain cold rooms, chillers, and freezers.
  • Check gas levels, compressors, thermostats, and electrical panels.
  • Ensure temperature compliance for food safety standards.
  1. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all equipment meets safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Follow UAE local authority guidelines (e.g., municipality and food safety standards).
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
