Job description:
- Equipment Installation & Setup
- Install and commission commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, chillers, freezers, fryers, dishwashers, and steamers.
- Ensure proper electrical, gas, and water connections as per safety standards.
- Test equipment functionality after installation.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Clean and service internal components to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
- Repair or replace defective parts.
- Refrigeration & Cooling Systems
- Maintain cold rooms, chillers, and freezers.
- Check gas levels, compressors, thermostats, and electrical panels.
- Ensure temperature compliance for food safety standards.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and hygiene regulations.
- Follow UAE local authority guidelines (e.g., municipality and food safety standards).
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
